GreenBelt Games
About us
Founded in 2025 by lifelong green-thumb Will "Wild Bill" Pierce, GreenBelt Games uses leftover wood from local wood shops to create handcrafted original games. Growing-up loving to play games but believing I could not draw, making games was always a pipe-dream. After learning about the fundamentals of drawing in a course offered at the local community college, Wild Bill heard the professor mention an assignment from a previous class; create your own board game. Fascinated, the seed of inspiration firmly planted like a tree, making a game was now a matter of time. The time came during a cold, snowy, February in 2025. The prototypes bloomed and so did the fun. That's right, it was blooming fun.
Aside from the fun, GreenBelt sources quality leftover wood from local woodshops. This wood is simply too small to be used for cabinets, doors, tables, or other woodwork the shops do. GreenBelt will always use sustainably sourced wood, such as these leftovers.
We design and craft our games in-house, by hand.
Cutting, Sanding, Painting, and Assembling are the core of our production.
Playing, Fun, Good Times, and Accessibility are the focus of our games.
From interactive, skill-based games like "Little Whiffle"; to traditionally designed table games like "Jet Stream," we may have a game that fits your moment.
Mission
Design games that are fun to play,
Using leftover wood.
Create games that facilitate fun,
Using refined designs.
